DJ SHIMZA — QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Tickets, shows, merch and bookings. For anything else, use the booking form and the team will reply.
Where can I see Shimza's upcoming shows?
All announced dates are on the Tour page. Shows sold on this site get tickets by email with a QR code; for festivals and club shows sold elsewhere, the button takes you to the official ticket seller.
What is the One Man Show?
The One Man Show is Shimza's own annual charity event, launched in 2009. It has grown into a festival of more than 25,000 people and won Best Festival at the 2019 SA Dance Music Awards. The 2026 edition took place on 25 April at the Tembisa Multipurpose Centre.
What is KUNYE?
KUNYE ("together") is the record label and event series Shimza founded in November 2020. It started as lockdown livestreams and now runs open-air events in South Africa, Kenya, London and Paris.
How do I book Shimza for a festival, club or private event?
Use the booking form with the date, city, venue, capacity and type of event. The request goes straight to the management team, who reply with availability, fee and technical rider.
How do I buy tickets and how do I receive them?
For shows sold on this site, add tickets to the cart and pay by card. The tickets arrive by email right away as a PDF with a personal QR code, and they are also saved in your account.
Do I need an account to buy tickets or merch?
No. You can check out as a guest — the tickets and the order link are sent to your email. An account lets you see all your tickets and orders in one place.
Where can I watch Shimza's full live sets?
The Live page collects his full sets — Cercle, Boiler Room, the One Man Show on Robben Island, Ibiza, Burning Man and the KUNYE nights. More are on his official YouTube channel.
Where can I stream Shimza's music?
On every major platform — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Beatport, SoundCloud, Deezer, TIDAL, Amazon Music and more. The Music page has the links and the latest releases.
Can I use Shimza's music in an ad or a video?
Commercial use of the music needs a licence. Send the details of the project through the booking form and the team will put you in touch with the right people.
How do merch auctions work?
Some special pieces are sold by auction: you bid from your account, you get an email if someone outbids you, and a bid in the last minutes extends the auction. The winner gets a payment link by email.
